Group Programs at Kindred Nutrition Co.

Healing is powerful in community.

Our group programs offer a supportive, judgment-free space to learn, reflect, and grow alongside others who just get it. Each group is thoughtfully designed to help you explore your relationship with food, body, and self – with the guidance of a non-diet dietitian and the comfort of knowing you’re not alone.

Real Conversations. Real Support.

Our group programs center on the challenges that so often go unspoken: navigating food guilt, setting boundaries, building body respect, and more. Every session is a space for shared stories, support, and gentle guidance.

Group Program Topics

The following is a list of some of our previous group programs:

  • Boundary Setting and Nutrition – Learn how to establish healthy boundaries around food, social pressures, and personal well-being to support your nutritional goals without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Joyful Movement and Nutrition – Movement doesn’t have to feel like punishment. This group explores ways to reconnect with your body through movement that feels good, not forced.
  • Navigating Diet Culture – We unpack some of the potentially harmful messages of diet culture, learn how to recognize its influence, and develop strategies to promote a healthier relationship with food and body image.
  • Understanding Stress and “Emotional Eating” – Explore the interactions between stress, emotions, and eating habits. Learn skills and coping mechanisms to manage emotional triggers with compassion instead of self-judgment.
  • Nourishment Beyond the Plate – Dive into integrative nourishment, focusing on the social, emotional, and cognitive factors contributing to your overall wellness.
  • Celebrating Bodies: Respect and Neutrality – What if you didn’t have to love your body to treat it with care? This group helps you shift from appearance-based focus to body respect and neutrality — honoring your body for what it does, not how it looks.
  • Gentle Nutrition – Nutrition shouldn’t feel rigid or restrictive. Learn how to care for your body with food in a way that feels supportive, flexible, and sustainable: no tracking or perfection required.
  • Rebuilding Your Relationship with Food & Self – If food feels like a battle and your inner critic is loud, this group is for you. Together, we’ll reflect on personal challenges, learn how to quiet negative thoughts, strengthen self-trust, and cultivate a more peaceful connection with food and your body.
  • Self-Compassion and Nutrition – Let go of “all or nothing” thinking. This group explores how to replace guilt with curiosity, and perfectionism with compassion. That way, you can approach nutrition and wellness with more kindness and less pressure.
  • Feeding Families – Learn practical strategies for creating positive mealtime experiences and supporting healthy eating habits in your children while reducing food-related stress within your family dynamic.

About Our Programs

Group programs are held over Zoom and typically run for six to eight weeks. They include one-hour weekly sessions. While weekly attendance isn’t mandatory, each session is uniquely developed to build on your knowledge and success. I want you to get as much as possible from the program, and I am here to support you. If you have a scheduling conflict, please get in touch, and I will provide you with key materials.

Groups contain a maximum of 10-15 people, helping to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate.

I’m an open book and understand that trust is a two-way street. This will be our first time speaking, and what we discuss is entirely up to you. Not a big talker? No worries! I am more than happy to guide our conversation or simply let you know more about me, my practice, and how I can help if you decide to move forward.
