Do I Need to Prepare For My Sessions?

Before our first 1:1 counseling session, I will send you a form with some basic questions to answer. Some of these questions are medical, some are personal, and some are required as it helps me provide the very best of my expertise to you. Everything you share with me is entirely confidential. I firmly believe that trust is the foundation of any positive and productive dietitian-patient relationship.

After our first session, the following sessions simply require you to bring yourself and an open mind. You never need to worry about feeling unprepared for an appointment.

What Can I Expect During My 1:1 Counseling Sessions?

Our sessions will be a space for you to be real with whatever’s on your mind and whatever’s going on in your world.

Some days, that might mean unpacking the noise of diet culture. Other days, it’s celebrating small wins, navigating a tough body image moment, or figuring out how to eat when everything feels overwhelming. It’s all welcome here.

These sessions are about you. Your story. Your pace. Your version of healing. I’ll be right there with you. Not with a list of rules, but with tools, curiosity, reflective questions, and a whole lot of compassion.

Where Do We Meet?

That’s up to you! My secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform allows you to meet me in the comfort of your home, your car, or wherever you feel is best. Please try to find a location with minimal distractions to make the most of our session.

At Kindred Nutrition Co., our telehealth sessions are accessible from any device, including:

  • Desktop and laptop computers
  • Android smartphones and tablets
  • iOS (Apple) devices

I also have an office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, if you’d prefer to have in-person appointments.
